Walking the Left-Hand Path: My Journey as a Qliphothic Witch
Tuesday, January 14, 2025
Today's topic is going to be very interesting. I want to talk about my LHP practice.
Have you ever stopped to wonder just how vast the universe really is? It’s more than stars and planets, it’s a labyrinth of mysteries, realms, and energies we’ve barely begun to scratch the surface of! As a Qliphothic Witch practising the Left-Hand Path (LHP), I often find myself gazing into the unknown, asking, What else is out there? The answer? Infinite possibilities.
For me, the Left-Hand Path is more than just magick, it’s a way of life. It’s about stepping into my power, and realising that I am my own god. This isn’t about arrogance or rebellion for rebellion’s sake. It’s about claiming responsibility for my own destiny. Why look outside yourself for salvation when everything you need is already within?
What Does It Mean to Walk the Left-Hand Path?
The Left-Hand Path is not about conforming. It’s about daring to question everything; society, religion, even the boundaries of your own mind. Why should I follow rules someone else created when I can carve my own path? That’s the beauty of the LHP: it encourages freedom, independence, and self-discovery. I see it as something that I can empower myself with. This path TRULY supports my empowerment, so it is to say.
As a Qliphothic Witch, I work with the Qliphoth, which is the shadow side of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Yes, it’s dark, and yes, it can be terrifying, but it’s also liberating. Each sphere in the Qliphoth teaches me something deep-seated about myself. It forces me to face my fears, confront my weaknesses, and emerge stronger. Growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable. It comes from diving into the unknown.
Why I Choose This Path
Why do I walk the Left-Hand Path? Because it empowers me like nothing else can. It reminds me that I am limitless. I am not bound by the expectations of others or the constraints of traditional spirituality. Instead, I am the architect of my own reality. With the people around me, I always encourage people to be liberated from any rigid thinking or faith.
Through rituals, meditations, and working with the Qliphothic spheres, I’ve learned to embrace both my light and shadow sides. Why deny a part of myself when I can integrate it and become whole? Darkness isn’t something to fear. It’s something to understand and work with.
Magick as a Tool for Exploration
Magick is how I explore the endless mysteries of the universe. Whether I’m working with demonic entities, summoning cosmic energies, or performing shadow work, every ritual feels like stepping through a door into a new realm. Hence, I feel like it ALWAYS liberates me; the freedom for me to choose something that makes me whole; and that I don't have to be tied to specific rules of a specific religion.
And here’s the thing: the Left-Hand Path isn’t about rejecting the light. It’s about balance. When I do tarot, when I see the 2 of Pentacles, it always reminds me of the LHP. It’s about walking through the shadows to find your inner light and learning to wield both with confidence.
Common Misunderstandings About the LHP
Let’s address the elephant in the room. So many people think the Left-Hand Path is evil. That couldn’t be further from the truth! It’s not about destruction or harm. It’s about liberation. It’s about pushing boundaries and discovering what you’re truly capable of.
Yes, it’s challenging. You’ll confront parts of yourself you’d rather ignore. But isn’t that where the real transformation happens?
Lessons From the Left-Hand Path
Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way: You Are Your Own Power Source: No one can save you but yourself. Isn’t that liberating?
- Question Everything: Just because something is taboo doesn’t mean it’s wrong. The forbidden often holds the most valuable lessons.
- Collaboration, Not Worship: I work with dark energies and entities as equals, not as a servant. I don't NEED to serve a god because I am my own God.
- Shadow Work is Key: Facing your darkness is terrifying but also deeply rewarding. Once you have learned to embrace the shadow part of yourself, it becomes immensely rewarding.
- The Universe is Limitless: There’s always more to explore, learn, and experience.
Why I Love This Path
I won’t lie, the Left-Hand Path isn’t for everyone. It’s not easy, and it’s not always pretty. But for me, it’s everything. It’s freedom, power, and self-mastery rolled into one. It’s knowing that no matter what challenges I face, I have the tools to overcome them.
And the best part? It’s a never-ending, ever-evolving (I like using this word so much) journey. Every ritual, every exploration, every new discovery brings me closer to understanding my place in the cosmos.
What About You?
Does this resonate with you? Have you ever felt drawn to the darker side of magick and spirituality? If so, don’t let fear hold you back. The Left-Hand Path might just be the key to unlocking your true potential.
If you’re curious, let’s talk! Share your thoughts, ask questions, or tell me about your own journey; I’d love to hear from you. After all, isn’t magick even more powerful when we connect and grow together?

★ About the Priestess
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Hello, lovelies x
I am High Priestess Ariela. This title is recognised by the Sovereigns of Heaven and Hell.
I was ascended to High Priestess by my mentor, High Priestess Cecilia in April 2020, by Queen Lilith, the Mother of Demons, in January 2022 and by Duke Bune, my Godspouse, in November 2023.
I am a proud Malaysian-based witchcraft practitioner, and I am in my 30s and I currently reside in Penang, and although I was born in Kuala Lumpur, I love the peace and quietness here compared to the congested city of Kuala Lumpur.
I have officially been practising witchcraft and divination for a little more than 10 years now. However, I have always been interested in witchcraft since I was a little kid. I started developing my intuition as early as 6 years old, and learning/reading books on witchcraft when I was 10. My ancestors were shamans and spiritual healers so I am happy to continue this lineage. I have always been an intuitive person since I was a kid, being able to feel empathy and being able to communicate with the spirits since I was a kid.
My Witchcraft Journey
I studied witchcraft for many years before I started practising, roughly from the beginning of 2016 until now. I had previously worked in a coven and received lessons from an old friend who was also a High Priestess. I have also studied with them, and have performed mass rituals. I climbed through the ranks and have finally ascended to the rank of High Priestess myself. I am a heavy ritualist.
I am passionate about what I do and I intend to help people heal, just like how I healed from practising witchcraft. Contrary to popular belief, most witches do more healing than cursing. So, I am also here trying to change that mindset that people have, thinking that practitioners of magick are mostly bad.
I am currently going through the trials of the Tree of Qliphoth (Tree of Death). I initiated into the Qliphoth in January 2024 after being advised by Lord Lucifer and Lady Astaroth.
My Practices
• Qliphothic Left-Hand Path
• Demonolatry
• Dark Magick

• Sympathetic Magick (poppets)
I am devoted to 5 infernal deities and 1 archangel for now.
My Spirit Allies

• Duke Bune
• King Belial
• Emperor Lucifer
• Earl Andromalius
• Duke Dantalion
I am spoused to Duke Bune, Earl Andromalius and King Belial.
Archangel
• Metatron
Outside the real world, I work in a multinational company (MNC). I am super passionate about what I do, both my full-time job and my side hustle.
I am also passionate about crystals, divination, and spiritual stuff. I have a large altar full of small, medium and big-sized crystals dedicated to my meditation time and also my devotion to my deities.
My Abilities/Gifts as a Witch
As a Witch, I am blessed with the following abilities:
• Energy Medicine and Energy Channelling (ancestral gifts)
